After the water is treated and sprayed on the land there are solids left in the bottom of the pit. Now, and in the DEP proposed bill, the driller wraps these solids in the pit liner and buries it, unmarked, on the surface owner's land! In this picture you can see the poorly buried pit liner sticking out of the ground.
