Informational Meeting on Oil & Gas Drilling ~ Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Rock Cave, WV

David McMahon, a public interest lawyer and co-founder of WV SORO will give a with a question and answer period to follow. The presentation will outline what rights landowners have and discuss what they should do when they get a notice of an application for a permit or are asked for permission to conduct geophysical or seismic testing on their land. Considerations before leasing will also be discussed. Legislators and Department of Highway representatives will also be on hand to answer questions and hear your concerns. Delegate Bill Hamilton and Senator Randy White have confirmed their attendance.
