Chesapeake/Dawson "Open House" ~ Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 6PM

On April 22, 2010, WV-SORO sponsored a meeting in Rock Cave, which covered a number of topics including leasing, surface owners’ rights and geophysical testing.  At the meeting, it was apparent that people had many more questions about the seismic surveys Dawson Geophysical has been contracted by Chesapeake Energy to conduct in Southern Upshur, as well as bits of Lewis and Randolph counties.  We requested a public meeting with Dawson and Chesapeake so that members of the community could get more information about the companies’ planned activities. 

Chesapeake and Dawson will be sponsoring an “Open House” Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at 6PM at the Banks District VFD in Rock Cave.
