What about conventional "shallow" wells, and their access roads and other impacts?
We expect some in the industry to say that changes do not need to be made, and that funding does not need to be added, in order to deal with the drilling of conventional wells. We do not agree. Current laws and staff are not enough for conventional drilling.
This and the following slides are all before the Marcellus Shale play, and have to do with conventional gas well drilling.
