WVSORO released a written initial response to the press release that raised serious questions that were not answered in the press release. When a request was made for underlying documents, the Governor said a Freedom of Information Act [FOIA] request had to be made. WVSORO got a copy of the DEP “Consent Agreement” which is one of the two or three documents that make up the scheme. That enabled us to find some of the bad answers to the questions we asked at first, and we responded in WVSORO’s follow up press release.
We may follow up again as we get more information on this.
